Awesome place with an amazing selection of gear. Great prices and tons of high quality gear to choose from. Definitely worth checking out if you’re a surf fisherman.

Made a purchase from the The Surfcaster, this 4th of July weekend. Purchased a hard too find OM dna 9"6 rod. The rod was packaged exceptionally well, I'm sure every shipper that ltouched it and looked at the box just wanted to give it a smash, wouldn't have mattered. apparently the Surfcaster knows shipping can be hazardous. The rod came, in perfect condition Thanks for great experience.

If you're reading this you likely know surfcasting requires unique tools and tackle. While many stores have some gear and tackle for the surfcaster, I have never seen a shop designed for my favorite style of fishing. Prices are great and the owner, Doug, has an impressive amount of surf specific gear in a small shop. He has most of the typical plugs (great selection of super strike) , hardware for lure modifications, and gear as well as some unique value items like the $20 surf belt I got (which is awesome). I am lucky enough to live within an hour of this shop and will be visiting regularly. Limited hours make it slightly more difficult to get to but the guy has a full time job. A further indication of Doug's love for the sport and, in my opinion, even more of a reason to buy my tackle with him.

Solid selection of tackle and ANYTHING for surfcasting gear. Great prices and customer service, retail location has tons of gear in stock ready for purchase and they have convenient evening and weekend hours after work to grab gear. Top notch local business several decades old serving surfcasters specific tackle needs

Doug is a great guy and has everything you need. Was amazed walking into the shop. From high quality reels, lure bags, poppers, rods, terminal tackle to hats and top of the line jackets when the surf is up. All top of the line stuff for the serious big water surfcaster!
