Young's at Three Rivers

Our experience with Young's at Three Rivers has been nothing less than fabulous! Our designer Marta has the patience of a saint and such wonderful ideas. We basically started our yard over from scratch and are now working in phases. Not only has she methodically thought out each area and our comfort zone interms of maintenance and care, she listened. Everyone in the office is great and Matt's knowledge is phenominal. Thank you to everyone at Young's. We can't wait to start up and work with you in the spring. We highly recommend them to everyone! How fortunate we were to find such an exceptional landscape designer-Marta Ripperger at Young's at Three Rivers! Marta has an amazing fund of knowledge and can speak to needed criteria for ANY plant, shrub, or tree. She knows where to place plants so any blooming times are scattered to give color through the seasons. She also takes into account placement as to how they grow.
Marta suggested opening more of the area bordering our woods which added a sweep to the approach of the property.
Matt and his team from MJay were fantastic , removing the old and preparing and planting the new. They were efficient and worked hard. Marta was right there to guide them as needed

Fantastic experience!! Highly recommend!! Young’s at Three Rivers nursery (specifically Marta—who was absolutely wonderful!) recently helped me locate a London planetree to plant in our backyard in memory of a family member who passed away. I had called several other nurseries in Connecticut looking for this specific type of tree and unfortunately none had the tree or were able to find one. It’s a somewhat unusual tree to find in a nursery, but for our family, this tree holds a lot of meaning and it meant so much to us that Young’s was able to find one, special order it, and then help arrange a contractor to plant it for us. It’s an absolutely BEAUTIFUL tree and arrived to us about 12 feet tall - quite mature and already an impressive addition to the landscape. I can’t thank Marta and Young’s enough for their timely and professional service. You found us the perfect tree and this will forever be a beautiful tribute to our loved one.

From start to finish, our landscaping project came together very easily and we are very pleased with the results.

My wife and I recently visited Young's at Three Rivers to get ideas for sprucing up our backyard area. Marta was very professional, pleasant and knowledgable, making excellent suggestions on what would work based on our soil and sun exposure. I also worked with the contractor Matt to plant the shrubbery. His team was quick and did a fantastic job. We are extremely pleased with the results, the finished product looks amazing.
