Active Day of Hamilton

My mother is 87 years old and has Alzheimer’s disease. We looked into Active Day of Hamilton to help her spend time with others, and it has been wonderful. She now looks forward to going every day, playing games, and doing crafts with her new friends. The staff is amazing and makes her feel like it’s her second home. I would highly recommend Active Day of Hamilton to anyone looking for a caring, supportive place for their loved one.

The facility is very clean and the employees are extremely welcoming. Peg Barone really helped my family out with all of the information that I needed. The staff answers all questions and show extreme dedication and passion for what they do. Highly recommend!

From our first contact with Active Day of Hamilton I was so impressed and delighted by their knowledge and the caring spirit of the staff. Both Stan and Peg were so accommodating and informative as i reluctantly enrolled my husband. After just a few days, the staff and caregivers exceeded my expectations. Esther, the bus driver is like a morning ray of sunshine, warmly greeting my husband as he boards with a big smile. Ruby, the nurse, has been forthcoming as she faithfully cared and communicated my husband’s medical updates and addressed my concerns very positively. Raquel, activities director, provided me with such gratifying information on his progress. After reading Raquel”s report our two daughters commented; “they really seem to care at the center “ and “ we’re glad you enrolled him there” They adore their Dad and their remarks say it all. I highly recommend this center for a loved one. My many thanks to everyone.

I did my research and looked at others in the area, some I couldn't even get out of my car to visit because of my gut feeling. Once arriving to Active Day I was relieved and once inside I was really at ease. My mother enjoys her time there which was an adjustment for her. Now all I have to say to her that she is going to the center and we get moving with no complaints or resistance. The staff has been really supportive from the beginning, they go beyond the call of duty. Truly thankful!!

So grateful for such a wonderful group of people! Every single one of the staff are consistently kind, thoughtful, friendly, enthusiastic, and caring. My mother takes a while to get used to new places yet here she quickly feels welcomed, as part of a fun group, and most importantly, she feels valuable. Thank you to every single one of you. We are so grateful.
