Appletree Preschool - North Haledon

I highly recommend this daycare! My grandchildren have attended the infant and toddler 1 class for 2 months now. The amount of growth in those 2 months has been monumental. My grandson has some developmental delays and receives early intervention. All staff incorporate his goals and thrive to encourage him. They make him feel loved, nurtured, and motivated. I wouldn't say it is a special needs school, but they definitely go above and beyond! They are like a second family.

I fully and wholeheartedly recommend Appletree pre-k. From the moment Kellie emailed me back, I knew this was where our kiddo should be. Gina took over as director a few months later and the culture stayed the same which is a big testament to their judgment and choices.

I’m forever grateful to the entire staff, especially Sophia, Julia, Luz, Gina and Kellie. I wouldn't trust my kid with just anyone. These teachers and caretakers are trained to be gentle, loving and to treat not only the kids with love but parents as well. The communication is wonderful, you receive pictures and videos.

My kiddo has skyrocketed both academically and as a person. I just wish he could stay there longer. Thank you for everything you have done for our family. We’re going to miss you all tremendously.

We have our two boys enrolled in Milestones and, honestly, couldn’t be any happier. Julie and all of the teachers (who are excellent) are like family - always leaving us with a warm feeling. Our boys absolutely love it! It is the best experience for all of us and we are so thankful to have found such a perfect place.

My 4 year old daughter has attended Milestones since she was 4 months old. I actually moved further away from Milestones when she was 3 but decided to make my commute longer so that she can stay there. The academics, enrichment classes and overall curriculum is great. However my daughter feeling loved and encouraged to be kind is what is most important to me and Milestones exceeded that criteria. She absolutely loves her teachers and assistants. I highly recommend Milestones!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Milestones! We have been going to Milestones for several years now. My 1st child graduated in June and is currently in Kindergarten. He is doing amazing in Kindergarten and went there fully prepared! I now have my middle son enrolled in Milestones and he loves it as well.
The owners, Julie and Donna are beyond kind and make Milestones the gem it is! Milestones teaches the WHOLE child. I love that each staff member knows my children and have a special connection with them. They focus on each child as an individual and truly get to know and love them. It is a warm, inviting environment. They also have a wonderful app that allows the teachers to send photos and notes throughout the day. It makes me smile to see all the fun, engaging tasks they do with them!
This IS the place you want your child to grow and learn throughout the day!
