I went and decided to take a chance into seeing a new therapist and seeking a new kind of therapy but unfortunately this therapist Devonna did not have much experience in handling individuals.. She treated more teenagers and families. Also she did not gave any professional advice or suggestions. All she did was listen and not said anything helpful to improve and she even let out a yawn in one of the sessions which that one time was certainly rude. She just discussed on what kind of treatment I would need and such but never got around to it. It felt I needed to remind her.. until she only send me the kind of therapy I needed but only a document of definitions.. how is that gonna help or improve..
I have been to therapy before and wouldn’t say the last therapist was the best but at least she provided a good few suggestions in handy. I would’ve expected something more of a better therapy in this but unfortunately not and thankfully I discontinued in time.
Initially I spoke with the manager on what kind of issues I was seeking to work on and thought they would place me with the right therapist or someone who had a lot of experience at least.. I have noticed with a couple sessions that they simply place you with anyone regardless of their experience or type of patients they have treated with.. It seems they just do it for the money.. Not worth it anymore nor wasting time. I can’t speak for the other two therapists but wouldn’t recommend this one for an individual.

My experience with Awakened Path has far exceeded my expectations. The level of comfort and understanding along with teaching new ways to navigate through a lot of recent hardships has been invaluable. I can’t thank them enough for all they have done and I would absolutely highly recommend them. I found the much needed support and empathy that was needed from the staff who have been extremely genuine in assisting me. I have been to other therapists before, and nobody has given me the care I needed like Maria at Awakened Path. I have been seeing her for several years and each session she helps me become a better version of myself. Conversations have always been easy, comfortable, and safe. I love Awakened Path. Not only is my therapist the most incredible therapist, all of the staff is great. The receptionist, is so time efficient and helpful. My therapist is so understanding and GREAT at her job. I have been seeing her for a long time and I am definitely a better person because of it.
