It takes a lot for Italian based cuisine to impress me because of my own culinary skills and traditional cooking. Azzurri met the moment and truly excelled in every category. The bone marrow ragu over squid ink pasta is a must. The pork chop and short rib are both terrific. The staff and atmosphere round out everything nicely. A true gem on LBI, and the region.
We were here for the first time today. We ordered arancini, salmon, and filet mignon. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu and chocolate mousse with coffee cream. Everything was incredibly delicious and fresh. Thanks again to Rich for the service. Highly recommend.
The best restaurant I’ve been to so far this year, top tier dining experience. Get the Black Truffle Cacio!!! Extremely polite and friendly staff, everything in the restaurant is very well thought out, attention to detail everywhere you look. 10/10 highly recommended.
This is not an Italian restaurant.
I did not appreciate a restaurant that names itself as Italian, but doesn't have nothing of Italy, no italian menu, no italian service, no Italian mood. They serve good meal, but not Italian! They charge you an appetizer as a entree if you order just an appetizer. This is not Italian
First off I have to say visiting LBI and finding this gem was worth every penny. The staff made it feel like they’re your family. The cooks are all so skillful! I love how clean it is as well. The only thing is that the bathrooms just need to be attentive at all time, but the minute I thought that I saw one of the staff members head their way to the bathroom to restock everything!
Now the food-to die for. Everything was amazing. I’ve never tried so many flavors all at once. Nothing was bland except I’d want a bit more salt in the Summer Milanese. But oh my gosh-everything was savory. Sweet. And water running. The crisp on the bread, on the mushroom balls, on the chicken was so crunchy. The steak was perfect how I want it. The desert choices were amazing. I can’t even explain it enough. I will defiantly come back and bring all my friends and family.
