Update review 8/2025
1. This place - food & staff - is incredible.
2. New location closer to the bridge is bright, immaculate and impressive but I miss the outdoor seating.
3. Order to pickup / deliver or eat inside on the Big Dogs app & join their rewards program.
4. Most importantly- write a nice review for these guys. They really make the experience well worth your time & value your patronage greatly.

The burgers are not the only thing that I want to comment about here, but they're the primary reason I keep coming back.. this small eatery on the road to seaside is a must for serious chow hounds!

The Stacked BigDog is my go-to usually, though I sometimes am in the mood for TEXICAN.. Recently it's the Mushroom Bleu.

Every time I visit, a new item catches my eye, and then I'm forever sold!! The lemonades are inexpensive, so I get 2 or 3 usually and the LEMON Wings to go. Try the jerk sauce in the boneless wings. Amazing 👏

The flavor of the cheese here is something worth remarking- it's almost like a provolone or a gouda.. one day I gotta ask. Don't forget your BIGDOG'S Sauce to take home too. 2 kinds to choose from!

I can't give more than 5 stars, but you'll be blown away by the freshness. No bull. Use their app to order ahead and get rewards for being a regular patron.

UPDATE TO REVIEW. Re opened and new location. While it’s not super small anymore it’s oddly wide open feeling. No outside seating anymore. In plaza type building. I had to knock it down in atmosphere, the service was okay but not like old staff. Such a change that I wonder if old owners sold the name or what. Big departure from what it was. Food still at least good. $$$$$$$ old review follows…….Place is small inside. Outside seating available. Front of house was very friendly. Food portions are large, mozzarella sticks are huge!! All good stuff! Recommend for sure.

It was ok. Fries were alittle to salty to my liking. My husband got a cheese buger and it was ok. I had Italian hot dog and it was ok. The mozzarella sticks were too much for me. The fry sauce was my favorite.

I had the pleasure of visiting "Big Dogs cafe" for the first time recently, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Despite passing by countless times, this visit finally happened, and I'm glad it did. This establishment easily earns a well-deserved 5-star rating from me.

The service was commendable, leaving no room for complaints. The standout, however, was the food itself. Every dish I tried exceeded expectations, making the slightly higher price point absolutely worth it. Having such a gem so close to my residence on rt 37 is a true convenience, and I'm sure it's equally convenient for others.

The café's location is undeniably advantageous, and I am already looking forward to returning and indulging in more of their delectable offerings. The portion sizes took me by surprise; the sandwiches and meals were generously portioned, leaving me both satisfied and impressed.

A heartfelt thank you to the team at "Big Dogs cafe" for providing exceptional food and service. It's safe to say that I will be a returning customer, eager to explore the variety of dishes on the menu. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience with fantastic food and a convenient location, this café should be your next stop.

The best word to describe every bite I took is delectable. It was beyond delicious! My boyfriend and I loved everything we got! Staff was great and everything was brought out in a timely manner. Absolutely in love with the burst of flavors with the sauce and the meat itself. Will definitely be coming back, sorry burger25… 👋🏻
