Bombaywala & Co. is an absolute gem for authentic Indian street food. Every bite transported us straight to Mumbai’s chaat lanes. The Pani Puri was perfectly crispy with explosive, tangy-spicy pani that hit all the right spots. Samosa Chole Chaat and Dahi Puri were loaded with flavor…..crunchy, creamy, sweet, and savory in perfect harmony. The Qutub Minar was a towering masterpiece of sev, yogurt, and chutneys…..Dabeli was spot-on with its buttery pav and peanutty masala, and the Kacchie Keri Masala Soda was refreshingly nostalgic. Finished with the creamiest Rabri Falooda and a refreshing Paan that tasted just like the real deal. Everything was fresh, authentic, and bursting with desi vibes. The staff is super friendly too…..Hands down the best chaat spot in NJ…..already planning my next visit. Highly recommend.
One of my favorite Indian restaurants in New Jersey! The flora sandwich is a must everything is so flavorful and we always enjoy our dishes here!
This place is authentic and service is excellent .. ambiance is fun like has a Mumbai kinda theme..service was excellent .. they explained the menu . BUT food was very very spicy for my palate and also too much butter perhaps 🤔 I felt they should ask the spice level may be
We ordered cheese Pav bhaji and masala cheese sandwich. This is worth a visit with customization of spice level
Very tasty chats,
Misal pav was tasty and spicy - almost mumbai-made authentic,
The ambience is really clean, well-lit, has custom interiors with an auto, bangle wall and decorations.
Price is a bit on the higher side but aligns to the clean and custom decorations.
Aesthetic effort but underwhelming experience overall. The place tries hard to recreate the Bombay street food vibe, and to its credit, the ambience is certainly unique. The walls, music, and overall layout do give off a “Bombay nostalgia” feel—but the tables are placed extremely close together, which means you’ll likely end up hearing every word of the conversations around you. Expect a loud, crowded environment.
The food presentation is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve scrolled through one too many Instagram reels—an overload of mayo, cheese, and sauces that feels more show than substance. If you enjoy over-the-top plating and fusion chaos, this will be your scene. If not, it may come off as excessive or gimmicky.
Pricing is definitely on the higher side, especially considering the portion sizes and ingredients. Not great value for money, but the uniqueness makes it worth trying at least once, just for the novelty factor.
The server was friendly and attentive, which helped the experience. However, the cashier or owner came off a bit rude and unwelcoming, which left a sour note at the end of the meal.
