Great quick service even during the holidays on our visit. Eggs Benedict was one of the best. Perfect hollandaise sauce!
I'm not joking when I say this was the best experience I could imagine. Got the Eggs Benedict, and a bowl of soup. Staff were wonderful, food was extremely affordable, food quality, flavor, temperature were all far above expectation. Best hollendaise sauce I've ever had. Can't rate high enough.
Not bad overall! The food was good, though we didn’t get our soup, and one of our group’s orders came out wrong (a sandwich instead of a burger). They fixed it quickly, though. The waitress definitely impacted our overall experience, but the place itself was decent. Average age in the crowd was about 70...worth trying at least once!
Food is truly fantastic. Never been disappointed with anything I've had! Portions are huge, and most meals come with soup, salad, entree and a scoop of ice cream.
Last time I was in, I was facing the front door where I saw no less than 5 or 6 food delivery drivers picking up orders for local folks. So if you can't get out, looks like you can still get a great meal that day.
Service is on Target. But be aware, these women look like career diner waitresses. So when they arrive at the table, you need to be ready.
Great kind, helpful, warm, friendly, curteous waits staff. If you stop in ask for Peggy B as she's exceptional. Food was good corned beef hash was great and ambiance was perfect as for old school diners. I consider myself blessed to have been shown this gem. Loved the layout as it took me way back.
