Having a Vet you can trust is incredibly important to me. The Furlongs have been a big part of my core team for many years and we are always in constant communication to make sure my horses feel their best. I’m grateful to have a team that cares about my horses as much as I do.
I brought my cow horse Lino in to the clinic for a lameness exam after an injury he sustained while chasing cows. The staff was beyond friendly and super helpful throughout the entire process. Lino saw both Brendan Furlong and Jonathan Furlong, not enough nice things could be said about both of these wonderful veterinarians. Although I didn’t leave with fantastic news I left with a very good understanding of my horse’s condition and how to keep him comfortable so he can enjoy his life. I highly recommend B.W. Furlong to all fellow horse owners looking for superior vet care.
Incredibly friendly staff who made checking my horse into hospital for the weekend the most pleasant it could be. I felt very relieved knowing that she was in their care and she came home a few days later looking happy and well. Throughout her time there the staff were communicative and kept me updated about her progress. While I'd prefer that my horse doesn't need to spend another weekend in the hospital if she does this one is my first choice.
Dr. Baia did a phenomenal job evaluating and treating my nervous pony. He was extremely patient, understanding, and eager to help. Prices aren’t bad and they were willing to work with my insurance. Would definitely recommend, will be our go-to clinic from now on.
Dr. Furlong and his staff are our go-to especially when we are lost. Most recently our twenty plus year old mare had been experiencing on and off again lameness for which we could not find an answer with our local vet and farrier.
Kaitlyn in the front office found a quick spot for us, the staff treated us with kindness and compassion and after a through examination and blocks we were given the answer. It certainly wasn’t what we had hoped for, but Doc Furlong was kind, compassionate and direct in giving my almost eighteen year old daughter, who is the mares owner, the options.
Dr. Baia performed the necessary surgery and called immediately after the procedure. He was kind and patient with all of the questions we had. While initially we were a bit despondent about her outcome, he assured us that she would be in much better shape that we had previously anticipated. Compassion, patience, knowledge and skill abound at this practice. We are deeply appreciative.
