My mom was admitted to Concord Rehab in Lakewood, New Jersey after being hospitalized and having surgery for a fractured femur. From the second we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff has been absolutely wonderful. They are all very friendly, super supportive, and truly attentive. They have taken great care of my mom and made both her and our family feel comfortable and reassured during a difficult time.
Josephine, the Director of Marketing and Business Development, is absolutely one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever encountered. Her warmth and compassion truly stand out.
We are incredibly grateful for the care and professionalism shown by everyone at Concord Rehab and would highly recommend it.
I’ve got to say I was debating putting my mom in a rehab facility but I’m glad I made the decision and chose Concord . This facility is the best place I could’ve chosen for mom .The staff are amazing, attentive and supportive . I walked in a couldn’t believe how clean this place is . Usually you walk in a facility and it smells like well dirty diapers and that is
Why I was dreading putting mom in one of these places but I’m glad I picked Concord .. My mom was 11 days in Hudson Regional hospital after her surgery and no physical therapy to help her gain strength but at Concord not twenty four hours in and they got her to walk, sit & exercise her arms .. I’m so grateful for this place and highly recommend Concord for your loved ones . Even tho I’m there for my mom morning noon and night just because I want to make sure she’s being cared for and I don’t want her to think I’ve forgotten her this is the best place for a loved one in need of rehabilitation. Thank you Concord Staff you are all amazing 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I came to the Concord rehab facility three months ago after undergoing major cervical and thoracic spinal surgery. As could be expected, I arrived while still suffering from severe pain and a debilitating state of imbalance and mobile only in a wheel chair.
My experience at the Concord exceeded all my expectations. The warmth, friendliness, and overall good cheer of the entire staff including janitors, personal aids, nurses, OT’s and PT’s in addition to the administrative staff, permeates the atmosphere. Everyone is positive, smiling and encouraging in addition to their excellent level of professionalism.
I cannot forget the day that I arrived at Concord from the hospital. The devoted director Jay Kramer, and the amazing head of the rehab department Leah Cohen were waiting outside to welcome me and gently transfer me into the unit. I was in excruciating pain and physically totally dependent.
Three months later I am in a completely different place. Despite drastic reduction of medication, my pain is under control. I am walking with a walker and feel that my balance is greatly improved.
One of the amazing things about Condord is how the entire staff work together in harmony and mutual respect as well as compassionate devotion to the patients. In particular, I want to mention just a few of the names of personnel who were invaluable to my success in rehab.
The entire rehab tea: Leah, Sarah, Jen, Tifanny, Tricia, April, Daniel and others
The nursing team: Kristi, Debbie, Krissi, Cameron and others
The personal aids: Angella, Mark and others
Liaison team: Bracha Erps, Leah Schechter
I would heartfully recommend Concord as a first choice for anyone in need of serious rehab.
My mom was sent from hospital to Concord Rehabilitation and I am very satisfied with service and environment. Clean environment and very well organized. The staff is great and helpful. The Administrator and supporting stuff is incredibly good. In particular I want to emphasize the high level of professionalism shown by 2 staff members: Lisa Cittadino and Angela Harris. I have never seen in my life such dedicated professionals like them. Lisa is a great experienced person with great passion to help all time. Same opinion about Angela Harris, another great professional, and my mom is very lucky to have great support of these great human individuals, great women, and unbelievable professional experts. Passion, desire to be helpful, being ready always to do the maximum are things I never have seen in health services. God bless them! Sincerely Eugene Lagji
My father was admitted to the Concord Rehab facility for a 5-day rehab after an ER and Intensive Care Hospital admittance in JUL 25. The Concord facility staff (from administrators to medical care, nursing staff, physical therapists, dieticians, speech therapist, concierge, and day/night assistance) were tremendously helpful, courteous, caring, understanding, and most importantly synchronized to make the stay as painless, yet productive as possible. My family is grateful for the care our father received at the facility. The administration team of Josephine Celentano and Heather Cook were especially helpful in simplifying exactly what the facility could/would provide, and how to navigate his stay. Nicole Floudas (Director of Social Services) was especially helpful in coordinating his facility care, and his follow-on options. While managing his rehab plan, the entire team was engaged, timely, and involved in his constant care and rehab. Thank you to Judy, Debbie, Cameron, Jackie, Luce, Mark, Leah, Sarah, Tiffany, and Kimberly - Apologies if I missed someone).
Even though his stay was short, his care was coordinated with involvement and assessment from Dr. Gilani making multiple visits. His demeanor and bedside manner were so well received that both of my parents are now seeing him as their primary care physician.
Thanks again to the entire Concord Team
