Had my first appt with Dr Costa and was VERY satisfied with my visit. He took his time , explained everything, was very knowledgeable and listened. The staff was very kind and professional.

Excellent doctor!!! Takes his time to explain and provides information regarding your illness and treatment. I wish all my doctor had his personality. The office is very well kept and the front desk staff is very friendly.

Dr. Costa is amazing!! I just went to him for a consult to get a colonoscopy as I turned 50 this month. I was so impressed with his knowledge and desire to spend time with me explaining in details all I wanted to know and more. I left the office with a set appt for the procedure and got it done immediately. I was extremely nervous, but him and the staff at the surgicenter he works out of were excellent! Reassuring, understanding, sweet and very professional. I mean, for me it was perfect. I am so thankful my pcp reccomended Dr. Costa to me.

Although I still give Dr. Costa 5 stars for his treatment towards me, I am disappointed to have experienced a less than kind treatment from his staff recently. I called last Monday morning the 19th of September to see if they had any availability for a check up as I had been experiencing stomach pain and due to the fact that my pcp couldn't see me in another 21/2 weeks, I had to go to the urgent care. They did nothing there and told me to follow up w my GI. When I called, the lady who answered the phone wasn't really ready to listen to what I had to say. I ask for any availability and that my pcp wanted Dr Costa to check me out and she didn't even ask if I was already a patient or anything else, only said the doctor was booked solid until the middle of November to which I kindly asked if they had anything for emergency appts. She replied "if this is an emergency, go to the hospital" and I told her that I had gone the week prior and they wanted me to follow w my GI. She said, "I could give you something for the middle of October, do you wanted or not?" Her lack of emphaty was disheartening and I'm sure this is not the way Dr. Costa wants his patients to feel. I had to go to a new gi even if it was close to an hour away but he was highly recommended and saw me the same week on that Thursday. Very disappointing experience

Professional staff, Dr Jose Costa takes time to explain and listen to his patients. Everything went smooth from the start. He made sure I knew all details of my procedure. Will highly recommend him and his practice. Keep up the good work!
