Suffering from an arthritic thumb and after numerous cortisone shots it was time for surgery. Dr.Vasan explained the procedure in full detail preparing me for CMC Arthroplasty/LRTI surgery. Doing my own research I anticipated a long recovery, of up to a year for full recovery. After surgery I was moved on to Occupational Therapy and into the the hands of Melissa Deluca, the best therapist I've ever had. After six weeks of OT, Dr.Vasan was very pleased with my progress. I was back to work after four months with minor restrictions. I can't thank Dr.Vasan enough and the whole staff at Seaview Orthopedics for making this whole process stress free.
If it's the best orthopedic surgeon you want...go no further than Dr. Vasan. I 'met' him by accident...no recommendation, no proir knowlege...just by chance. I was impressed from the first moment. After a warm welcome he rolled up his sleeves and explained all the options for my shouder. Together we decided the best course was surgery Well, I did not heal as quickly or as well as anticipated. Dr. Vasen DID NOT say, "We gave it our best shot; I had hoped for a better outcome.'" Nope...he had another plane he called Plan B! To this day I enjoy a pain free full range of motion in my shoulder. It is no wonder I returned to Dr. Vasem when my other shoulder started to 'act up.' So...Dr. Vasen...bring it on.
Dr Vasen did a shoulder surgery on me in 2013. I got excellent results and thank him for the great job he did.
I now injured my shoulder again 😭😭 and returned to Dr. Vasen. He has ordered an MRI.
I trust him and know that he will do everything possible for me. I am in a lot of pain and cannot lift anything or use my arm too well.
I could have gone to another Orthopedic shoulder surgeon but returned to Dr Vasen because he is the best surgeon around. I trust him.
Dr. Vasen is very easy to talk to and cares about his patients. He takes time with you and explains what is wrong with you and how it can be corrected.
I highly recommend Dr. Vasen if you need a great Orthopedic surgeon.
