Dr. Jane M. Lee, MD

I took the time to read the 1-star reviews to understand how my experience is so far different from those who rate 1-star. Yes, the front desk was intolerable - even I complained to her, and she's straightened that out. Her front-of-the house was rude and abusive, but now to what counts.

The reason it's difficult to become a new patient is because she's full up with a slate of patients who won't go elsewhere. Dr. Lee devotes herself to her patients' well-being. She expresses her personal and professinoal concern with words and conduct.

Here's what I find. She's a brilliant scholar of medicine and a source of wisdom across the board. She's a doctor's doctor, and that means she's in an inner circle of the best physicians in New Jersey. She can refer you to the best just as the best refer you to her.

You can speak with her about almost anything. I related how it's become excruciating to walk downhill in San Francisco when I visit. She provided a solution, and I now navigate stairs as she suggested I do the hills. I ask her any kind of medical question. I'm awed with her vast medical knowledge beyhond dermatology.

I recently nipped a small piece of flesh from a finger with wire cutters creating a bloody open wound. She phoned within an hour, queried me, and explained the topical antibiotic I was using with a water-tight bandaid was not apt. She gave me instructions and phoned in an Rx for a better antibiotic cream. She takes care of me. I once had a pre-cancerous growth inside my ear canal. Instead of operating on me herself, she sent me to a highly regarded specialist who performed as an artist inside my ear. She remembers every spot on me requiring observation and treatment better than I. I needed her to remove a metal splinter once.

It's my fault and the fault of others like me new patients can't get an appointment. We don't leave, and we tell friends and family about her, so they wait in line to get an appointment. It's sad. People who've never seen her give her a 1-star rating. Where's the justice in that? The rest are bothered by the front desk.

Dr. Lee is a standout. You will go far and wide to find a medical doctor who knows your name and your chart by heart, and who will devote her personal and professional best to you. I drive from Frenchtown to Metuchen to see her, and sometimes I wait over an hour for my turn. She's worth it. Many of us all do the same. That's why so many clamour to see her.

Dr Jane Lee and her staff Paula, LeighAnn and Elizabeth are all super accommodating and caring. Dr Lee always gives me her full attention and is very thorough and courteous and so is her staff. Always a warm welcome by all! 😊

i have been a patient of Dr. Jane Lee for approximately 20 years. As a liver transplant recipient, I am prone to skin cancer which is treated by Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee performs thorough exams and does not rush through the appointment and provides a high level of personal care. Her team (Paula, Leigh and Elizabeth) welcome all patients to the office with a heartfelt hello as they are an integral part of the process. They coordinate my medical care with my other doctors - oncologist, surgeon, nephrologist and transplant coordinators be it forwarding biopsy results or scheduling next appointments. Most important they keep me up to date with lab and biopsy results as i do not have to chase them to get results. The team works closely with Dr. Lee to ensure that all patients get a high level of care.

I highly recommend Dr. Lee and give her and her team a top rating of 5 stars!!!

A visit to Dr. Lee’s office is excellent in all ways. Her staff, Elizabeth, Paula, and Leigh, are welcoming, efficient and professional. The office is well run and patient friendly.

Dr. Lee is an outstanding dermatologist who takes time to listen to her patients and to clearly explain her observations and required treatments. Dr Lee is kind and compassionate and provides the best medical care available. I have no hesitation recommending this practice.
