Dr Ken Roger's treated me for what was severe spinal stenosis in august and september of 2024. He was very attentive and supportive in his determination that it was time for surgery or life in a wheelchair. He recommended a neurosurgeon and I am four months into recovery, doing very well.
I first want to say regarding the review posted from K. FISHER, that everything that was said is so far from true. I know Dr Roger's and he is far from a monster.
Although it is dangerous to stop pain meds cold turkey and should be weaned down, many patients aren't aware that it is at the doctor's discretion.
Where Dr Roger's excels is where most doctors ( every Pain doctor I've seen personally), is that he will ask you to describe your pain and trace the outline of where it starts and where it radiates to. This is done for two reasons. 1), to find out what kind of pain and where it's coming from for just that reason. 2), and most importantly, too many patients try to lie about these things in order to seek pain meds. If you describe a pain starting and ending in certain parts of your body and trace it for him on your body, he will then compare it to the chart on the wall to determine if you are lying. Fail this test even once at any point and you are caught in a lie. That simple. Every doctor should adopt this policy in order to weed out pill seekers.
Dr. Roger's cares more about patients than most doctors. He also doesn't just prescribe pain meds foe the sake of prescribing them, as should be the case.
Being called a monster sounds more like someone making that comment is addicted to the pain meds they were on. Physical dependence turns into an addiction whether we like it or not. Any irritability, which sounds like there based on that review, is a side affect of addiction and not having those meds cold turkey.
So anyone who reads that review from Fisher, remember that is one aide of a story, and we all know there is more than one side to a story.
Everyone see Dr Roger's. Just don't go for the sole purpose of trying to seek out pain pills.

Dr. Rogers is PHENOMENAL! He cured my daughter's chronic migraine headaches! He did a Neuro-Stimulator implant that took her migraines away completely! She'd suffered horribly for many years ; we tried everything under the sun except the implant. Thank God it worked and thank God for Dr. Rogers!
