Crossfit Newtown

I was visiting family for a week and was able to drop in for classes each morning. The coaches were expecting me and made me feel welcome. The classes were challenging and many scaling options were presented. The gym itself is clean and well organized. I'm sure I'll visit again.

Just had another great class with Coach Janice! Her coaching style is relaxed and comfortable, which immediately puts you at ease, but she’s also incredibly attentive. For example, she always offers alternate moves for people who need them - like me - and makes sure that I’m still getting the best workout. Janice’s great sense of humor shines throughout the class, turning tough workouts into fun sessions that you look forward to.

I also work with Janice on nutrition coaching, and having that service available at Crossfit Newtown adds another level to my fitness efforts. Working with her on nutrition means I get tailored advice that fits my lifestyle, and that ongoing support makes a real difference beyond just the workouts. It’s a bonus that feels like an extension of the care she shows during class.

I highly recommend Janice’s class and nutrition coaching - she makes both feel approachable and effective. Plus, a shoutout to all the amazing coaches at Crossfit Newtown! What stands out most about CFN is the friendly environment that welcomes you the moment you walk in, the strong sense of community that turns fellow members into friends, and the coaches who genuinely care about your progress. I was visiting Newtown for a few days and wanted to try Crossfit, and since I had no Crossfit experience, I was recommended to take a Zone class. All of the communication I had with CrossFit Newtown has been so helpful and kind -- they truly care about everyone's experience and making sure it's right for you! All of the staff I met was engaging and supportive and created a really comfortable environment. I loved it and will definitely take more classes in the future!

Dropped in here from Florida on a 3 partner WOD day, two gentleman welcomed me into their group without me even having to ask. Tatum was the coach and still willing to give a drop in pointers. Great gym, will be dropping in when back in town. They offer weekly drop in rates too, come a few minutes early to your first class to sign the waiver. Also love the feel of their pull up bars, didn’t even need to use my grips.

I've only been doing CrossFit for a year but travel a ton so am always dropping in somewhere and your gym is top tier! The coach came right up to me, introduced himself and gave me a lay of the land, also corrected me during my snatch (which is excellent marker for coaching because I've been to places that couldn't care less about drop ins) and everyone was super friendly! Also, super clean, another key metric for me.
