Marty's program is a must!!!! He will help, change and give every tool a child or adult may need to get out of a bad situation! I learned so many way to protect myself while he was teaching my kids.
My kids were being bullied so I wanted them to learn self- defense. I looked everywhere and all I found was karate which they both tried and disliked and it was not what I was looking for because there is a big difference. I wanted my kids to have all the tools for different real life situations. Marty taught my kids what to do in different situations like a bully, intruder, abduction, feeling unsafe, etc. My daughter especially because she is a teenager who has put up with so much in her life. This is not just learning how to fight off a stranger, or protect yourself from a bully, Marty helped my daughter find the fight in her soul, belly and heart. This will transform your child for the better. He is an amazing teacher, man, and in a way therapist. My daughter woke up the day after the happiest in a while knowing she has the fight and not just that she also knows how to! I highly recommend Cobra self defense. My kids will be having more sessions so these lessons will stay with them for life.

Marty is a fantastic teacher. He is kind, professional, prompt, quick to reply and follow through, and extremely considerate. He is extremely knowledgeable and intentional in his lesson plans, and he is very inspiring! If you are looking for self defense training for any age, you have found a gold mine with Marty!

Marty came out to NJ to run a COBRA self-defense class for our homeschool group of elementary-aged kids. Marty was incredibly informative and engaging. He taught the kids how to identify a dangerous stranger, what to do if approached, how to get away if they are attacked, etc. Every kid was completely into the class from the second it began to the second it ended. Can’t recommend enough!

Marty is an amazing trainer and mentor. It is amazing watching him work with youth that are struggling with self worth and want to feel empowered emotionally, mentally and physically. I have seen 1st hand how his training sessions can help transform your child in a positive way. He is caring and has a gift with understanding and communicating with these kids. I’ve been taking private self defense classes with Marty and I cannot say enough great things about his training. It’s real life, dynamic, and every class is tailored to what is needed while still building on previous skills. Marty is clearly passionate about his work.
