The staff were fantastic- bubbly, sweet, knowledgeable, efficient. The building, however, is NOT handicap friendly and the system is inefficient. I received a 2 hours before my appointment, while leaving my house to make my way there, after another stop, saying that I needed to complete registration but, with no instruction how to do so. Not wanting to hold up my appointment, I committed to arriving early since Google Maps says they open at 8:00 add my appointment was at 8:40.
Arriving at the parking lot, I quickly realized there were no van accessible handicap spots anywhere near the office and I would have to park halfway down the parking lot, 11 businesses away. (See photo) Upon reaching the door, I found that they do not, in fact, open at 8:00 but, open at 8:30 and did not update Google with that change.(See photo) Back to the van I go, to wait. Once I got inside, at 8:26, I found that the doors are not wheelchair friendly and there is one single entry door after another single entry door to navigate through as a wheelchair user.
Upon reaching the desk, the very sweet receptionist didn't even know I was there because the counter height is for standing people and completely blocked her view of me. (See photo) Upon her navigating the registration problem and setting me up with another method to do so, it occurred to me that there is nowhere in the waiting room for me to safely sit in my wheelchair. I wound up having to block an emergency exit to be out of the way. As the wife of a career firefighter, I know this is not safe or legal.
The appointment itself went fine and if you're an able-bodied person, this place will probably work great for you. However, I would caution wheelchair users to make sure that they have someone to help them because this place is definitely not easily accessible!
I have been referring everyone I know to this office! The care my daughter receives is top tier. I was back and forth from ER and Urgent Cares until she was properly diagnosed. The staff is so kind and the office is welcoming. Dr. Cohn is wonderful!
Dr. Cohn is OUTSTANDING! She is very compassionate, patient, and is also good at her job. I was in a very bad shape with my lungs when I first saw her and after some tests and medicine she solved the problem that the other two last doctors couldn't and I feel a lot better thanks to her. I also had excellent care with the office staff & the nurse. I will DEFINITELY recommend this office to my family & friends and I will definitely continue to go see Dr. Cohn for my follow-up.
