Dream Scholars

From the very beginning, it was clear that Dream Scholars is something truly special. There are many attributes that set the program apart, but most notable are - the time spent in nature, the focus on play based academics, and the attention paid to individuality.

The play based learning component is magical, with experiential learning being key to their students’ academic success. Rather than worksheets or desks, the students learn by exploring and problem solving around the farm… They learn math by feeding the farm animals, they create art by developing their own mud paint, they improve their proprioception by riding horses… all in an exceptionally calm and encouraging environment.

The outdoor learning experiences are equally impressive - rain or shine, our children are getting outside, connecting with the earth, and building a deep respect for nature.

But what we love most is how every child is celebrated for who they are. The educators take the time to truly understand each little personality, nurturing their strengths, and supporting their development in the most thoughtful, gentle way.

The Dream Scholars program at Dreamweaver has been an integral piece of our families village and am so grateful the wonderful experience we have had. Every piece of the day is so intentional and allows space for kids to be kids while also providing a safe environment for growth and learning. We love the barn, all the teachers, and are so excited to return again in the fall.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Dream Scholars this fall. When we started, our child was barely speaking English and was shy about participating in activities. In less than six months, we saw an amazing transformation — now confidently engaging, speaking more, and excited for each day. The teachers are caring, creative, and deeply supportive. Special thanks to Ali and Meggy for the warm, thoughtful environment they’ve built. From nature walks to horseback riding and hands-on learning, every activity has been meaningful. We’re so grateful — and excited to be continuing with them next term!

We feel so lucky to have found this preschool enrichment program! Dream Scholars offers such a unique blend of learning and connection with animals and the outdoors that you just can’t find anywhere else. The animal stewardship aspect has been so impactful—our child has learned not only how to care for animals, but also how to build empathy and responsibility in the process.

What truly sets this program apart is its emphasis on social-emotional learning. The staff is incredibly thoughtful and creative, always tuning in to the children's individual needs and celebrating their growth. Every week, our child comes home excited, more confident, and full of stories about what they’ve learned. We can’t recommend this program highly enough—it's a special place that nurtures the heart and mind.

I cannot say enough good things about the Dream Scholars experience! All of the teachers and staff are so kind and patient and the curriculum is developmentally appropriate with a very important and too often overlooked focus on social and emotional intelligence. The activities are varied and always fun. The environment at the farm is truly magical for everyone who visits and I say this without irony or exaggeration. If you are looking for an early education program for your child, you absolutely cannot go wrong with enrolling them in the Dream Scholars program.
