Beautiful. Watch out for ticks! Had three, two on our dog, one on me! No "restrooms", plan accordingly.
cool place, but too many ticks
If you want to experience a walk using your five senses, this is the place. So much wildlife and color to explore and discover.
Nice little local nature preserve. A quick loop around the fields, lots of wildflowers to see, as a result of that there were a lot of butterflies. Small parking lot, mostly in the sun so go on a cool day and take a hat.
Open, minimally touched, and area around the sit is not very developed.
Except for someone's rooster in the distance, the preserve is peaceful.
I was there Memorial Day 2016 and saw many beautiful wildflowers and grasses. There were various butterflies, moths, dragonflies, colorful beatles, and I even spotted a small brownish preying mantis.
