Cool little hike, 2 mile loop, the signage for the yellow trail gets a little confusing at the end, seems like a tree came down that had the markers on it.

I love this place! Hiking and searching for gnomes in rock walls, the base of trees, or in trees. Some of the gnomes didn't winter well and we're broken, but otherwise it's an enjoyable hike with different connecting loops or access to the nearby Rail trail. Very peaceful and quiet.

The trail is a two-mile loop, and NOT all level, hills and valleys, up and down ravines much like the Appalachian Trail in some parts, with the trail itself no wider than 18 inches in some places. The yellow blazes are easy enough to follow. There is not much room for parking at the “trailhead”, maybe for a few cars. I wish there were more gnomes!

Pleasant smaller hiking area near White Lake in NJ. Trails are well blazed and wander through fairly interesting and varied terrain. Nice examples of larger vernal pools, though I didn't see any signs of amphibians or egg masses.
