Absolutely excellent. Quaint yet spacious. A little hole in the wall place. It's a BYOB which I always love.
The staff is very friendly and you get the warm and fuzzy vibe the minute you walk in. A good selection of music (Dean Martin, Sinatra, Armstrong and etc). A funny moment when "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed snuck in. They quickly skipped that and moved on. A calm song, it coulda played on. :-)
I ordered a pasta fagioli soup that was wonderful. For the entree, I had a parm encrusted pork chop with asparagus and potatoes. It was all perfect. My wife had the chicken francese which had an amazing amount of lemon (you can never add too much lemon!). Too bad they don't give a little salad with the bread. My only criticism.
Its a wee expensive, but worth the cost.
I wish I took a pic of my dish. but I was hungry and it was so good that I quickly dug in. So you get a fuzzy picture of me and the interior.
I highly recommend.
Picked up catering Friday. Was provided detailed instructions to reheat everything from chef for party the following day. Super friendly, very helpful! Eggplant rollatini and meatballs were a huge hit!! Highly recommend!
That pork chop!!! Holy canoli!! The four of us are all foodies, and we were completely blown away by the pork chop. BEST ONE EVER!!! I'm not usually this effusive, but it's entirely warranted.
The Caesar salad was perfect. The special flounder stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat was awesome. The chicken franchise and milanese were both excellent too! And the desserts....
We're visiting, but come regularly. We'll be back!
A reservation was not needed. However, I suggest making one. The restaurant is BYOB, but no worries because next door is a liquor store.
I ordered pasta with vodka sauce, and it was very delicious. The desserts are made fresh, and I tried the tiramisu. The service was outstanding, and the meal was perfect. The restaurant is on the smaller side, which made my dining experience intimate and cozy.
A quaint little Italian restaurant with mouthwatering homemade pasta and really personable customer service. I got the Spaghetti Arrabbiata. The sauce had a really nice kick from the peppers and the homemade spaghetti may be one of the best I've ever had. I also added a Meatball which was really well seasoned and moist that lives up to grandma's meatball. My mom had the Broccoli Rabe and Sausage over Rigatoni which she also raved about the pasta dish. We also enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and tiramisu for dessert.
