Hands down the best gym! Mike really cares about every member of his gym, knowing each persons individual needs and making modifications as needed. His classes include dynamic movements/exercises that target every muscle group!
Would 10/10 recommend G.R.I.T. Fitness every time someone asks.
Over the past two years, I faced significant health challenges that set me back in my fitness journey, leaving me uncertain about regaining my strength. However, with Mike’s guidance, I have rebuilt my confidence and proven to myself that I am capable. Now, six months in, I feel reconnected with myself. My sleep has improved significantly, and I have much more energy to take on the day—something especially important with two busy kids! I never thought I’d say this, but I genuinely look forward to waking up at 4 a.m. to see what Mike has in store for us. While the journey ahead is still long, I am confident in my progress and incredibly grateful to GRIT. A special shoutout to the 5 a.m. crew—we’re in this together!
This is the perfect gym for age appropriate cross training for all sports and fitness levels. My kids (10 and 12) have gained strength, speed, and agility attending the JV kids classes. The classes are kept on the smaller size which allows Mike to correct form and focus on each athlete. Mike keeps the classes fast paced and keeps the kids engaged throughout. Recommended for any athlete looking for a cross training environment.
I am so glad I joined GRIT! It is such a positive environment where you truly feel comfortable working out and becoming your best self. Mike is extremely encouraging. The change in workouts makes every class different! Definitely join GRIT if you are thinking about it!!!!
Two of my kids, as well as myself have worked out with Mike and it’s nothing less than exceptional. The JV/Varsity classes are perfect for your athletes. JV involves a bit more fun to keep the younger kids engaged (9-13) while the varsity classes (14+) are a bit more tailored to the older athletes.
