I could not be happier with my experience as a commercial tenant in this building. The application and atmosphere are perfect for my business. The building is made up of commercial and residential tenants, and I enjoy being able to interact with both sides of life when we pass each other in the common areas. Building management is very attentive to the needs of their tenants, and it is a friendly environment to work in.
Access to the building is secure with keycards which is a plus. There is ample parking space as well. As I stated prior, this location is perfect for my needs.
I have been a tenant at Guenther Mill for just about 6 years ever since I moved to the area. Guenther Mill is situated in the town of Dover, known for its rich Colombian culture and family owned restaurants. It is right down the street from the delicious ice cream at Dover Diary Maid, within viewing distance of local town 4th of July fireworks, and a short drive away from the Rockaway Mall plaza. While the location is suitable for either experiencing the local cuisine or shopping at the mall, the lofted apartment layout was perfect for me during my early 20’s.
The apartment has solid wood floors which I prefer over carpet, a full kitchen area outfitted with your standard appliances and gas stove. The high ceilings made it feel like I was never cramped and gave me plenty of options for transforming the apartment into my home.
There were times when the roofs leaked through rainstorms or when the heating system was malfunctioning, but through the online portal to submit work orders, the maintenance staff came by within a day which is very reasonable if you ask me. The owner Nick was usually accompanying the crew and actually went out of his way to crank the water boiler in the basement up to the maximum limit just so I wouldn’t freeze in the winter. Lastly, the staff including Livvy and Stacey were incredibly nice and friendly, often sending us gift baskets during the holidays and always informed me when they would be stopping by for either a maintenance request, fire inspection, etc.
Everyone has had their bad landlord stories, but take it from someone who has lived there for 6 years after living in different places back in school, it is rare to find a more caring staff than here. The only reason I moved out was because I bought a house.
Complete innovation to the surrounding area. Amazing potential, beautiful development thus far.
Looks amazing....will have to see what moves in.
