Hook House is a go-to for many local anglers: good gear, fair prices, and they do stock a wide variety. Just expect that not every interaction is perfect and sometimes the customer service depends on who’s working that day.

Another glowing review for Hook House and their employee Marc! These guys are so great all of them but Marc took the time out of his busy day along with his daughter to help teach my Grandson how to catch a bass! He helped lead us to various fishing spots and in the end of everything my nephew fulfilled his summer dream of catching that bass! These guys are so lovely and knowledgeable and are a great help in the store and out! Thanks again Marc!

Awesome and knowledgeable people who are extremely helpful. Both workers help us with a fishing pole we bought elsewhere and helped us debug it and taught my nephew how to cast and everything thanks guys! Can’t recommend you enough, you have customers for life!

Update 7/23/25: I can’t echo enough how helpful and awesome this entire stores staff is. My nephew, mother, and I have met a bunch of different clerks, and one’s son, and all have been exceedingly kind and helpful. If I could leave a second review separate from my above one praising them more, I would. But I can’t so it has to go here! Lovely people! Lovely store! Help there was awesome, had no idea what tackle plus bait needed for the fish I was going after. He took his time with me and made sure I had everything I needed for my best chance for success upon leaving. Very good shop plus service.
