Hunterdon Preschool of the Arts

My daughter spent two years at Hunterdon Preschool of the Arts. She started at 15 months old and instantly felt at home the moment she walked in the doors. Everyone was so friendly, warm, and welcoming. The classrooms are absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully set up with developmentally appropriate materials. Materials were also regularly rotated in and out to match different themes and activities they were working on. We really loved our time here and would recommend to anyone!

Hunterdon Preschool of the Arts was a wonderful experience for our child. The staff are incredibly caring and felt like true partners in our early education journey. We loved the innovative design of the classrooms--all were filled with natural light and opened up to the beautiful outdoor space on campus. Each day was filled with hands-on STEAM and kinesthetic activities that supported development through play. It was a joy to walk into the class each day and see the work in progress and friendships being nurtured. Hunterdon Preschool of the Arts will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Sending my child to preschool and deciding on “the best” school was extremely daunting and stressful, to say the least. I had Excel spreadsheets, lists of pros and cons, searched out of state and considered varying pedagogies, all in an effort to find the “perfect place”. And then I walked into Hunterdon Pre-School of the Arts and I just knew that I had found the perfect place where my son would go on to spend the next 2 years. It was everything I could have wanted and I felt so proud of the place I had chosen for him. The space is so immaculate, you could eat off the floors. Children are nurtured, they spend considerable time playing and exploring in nature, all while learning, a whole lot. The staff is amazing! My son thrived. He absolutely loved every second he spent at Hunterdon and for that, I am forever thankful. His love of learning started there. His preschool journey has come to an end and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wish Hunterdon PreSchool was a long term option! I mentioned to Ms. Rachel (the director) and his Pre-K 4 teacher Ms. Christina that I knew I would never find another place like this. I was right.

Our daughter thrived here. Beautiful, modern, sunny facilities and amazing staff. Miss Rachel - head of the school - is an incredible person, educator and partner in making sure your child is happy, healthy, engaged and balanced. Can’t recommend this school And community enough.

We have had both of our children enrolled at this preschool and they are absolutely thriving here! I can't say enough good things about the program. The teachers are wonderful and the other kiddos there are great little pals for our boys.
