It’s real food!! I had a turkey club, french fries and homemade chicken nice soup with shell noodles. So GOOD!!! It’s enough I feed two people easily, homemade macaroni salad and cole slaw crispy deli pickle! I will be back!! So so so great!!’ Went back again absolutely unbelievably delicious. Very friendly staff, cute cozy nice family atmosphere. We had sandwiches and last night ..huge. Breakfast, my companion had waffles and link sausage. Loved it. I had short stack, ah. Coffee excellent.
I hadn't been to Jersey in a very long time and the first thing I needed was a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich! Irv's Deli and Restaurant to the rescue and my lovely, beautiful server who was amazing! The restaurant was tidy and clean, nothing fancy, a straight up Jersey diner. A cup of coffee and my sandwich was exactly right. This sandwich tasted exactly like I remembered it years ago and I wished I would have had time to come back, but my trip was over and I had to fly back to the land of no porkroll and bad pizza! Please support the gem! Delish! Old school and perfect!
The food is always amazing! I usually go on the weekends right after work in the morning to unwind. The pastrami / corn beer panini is so good! French fries nice and crisp, pickles and the coleslaw is amazing! The older gentleman who I think is the owner is very sweet and great conversationalist. I highly recommend!
First time but my wife used to go there when she was a teenage and the food still tasted great. Which if you like me have the same quality of food and service is how I judge. If you heading down 33 to Asbury Park stop there for breakfast or lunch. If you do tell me what you think of it.
