Ismar Dizdarevic MD, Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Ismar is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He was professional, kind, compassionate, and put patient care before his own financial benefit. I had been to two other orthopedic surgeons before him for recommendations for knee pain. Dr. Ismar was the only one who said I should get a 4th opinion from a knee specialist, Dr. Beth Shubin Stein, in NYC. The surgery I needed was extensive and went beyond the scope of a simple joint replacement as I needed bone alignment surgery. I am 1 week post op from my surgery and I am already without the pain I've dealt with for 15 years. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Ismar. He truly changed my life by being an ethical and caring doctor. I recommend him to anyone searching for a doctor who cares about your well being, not just looking to preform a surgery as soon as possible. THANK YOU.

Dr. Dizdarevic is by far the most professional, down to earth, and knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon I have ever seen. His reasoning and ability to connect with his patients is bar none. I came to him with a knee issue. He was able diagnose the problem, create a plan, and propose immediate next step to recovery. If you have orthopedic issues, do not hesitate to reach out. I was very pleased to meet Dr. Dizdarevic today and I had an excellent appointment. I was there to get a second opinion and look at my knee problem after meniscus surgery that I had last year. He was very personable and thorough. As we looked at my x-ray, he explained everything that we were looking at and now I understand what I may need to have done down the road. I felt listened to as I haven't been in the past by my previous doctor/surgeon and I now plan to utilize Dr. "D" as my knee doctor going forward.

This was my second time seeing Dr. Dizdarevic (a year apart), and both times, he was extremely helpful in his explanation for what was going on with me, as well as the best way forward to avoid any invasive treatments. Wait time wasn't too bad, and I was about 10 minutes late which didn't seem to be a problem. Pleasant staff, and Dr. Dizdarevic was patient and thorough in answering any and all questions.

I was experiencing severe hip problems for a few years , so i finally build enough courage
to visit Dr Dizdarevic office in Ridgewood, NJ. He was highly recommended to me by a
total stranger I had met back in Feb, 2025 .
I visited Dr Diz and to my surprise he was very smart, knowledgeable and had the best bedside manners. He examined me and explained that I needed a total hip replacement. I talked it over with my wife and decided to go for it. On April 22 , 2025 Dr. Diz performed the surgery. It's only been 2 days and I'm walking like a brand new man. We are eternally grateful to have chosen this Dr . We now call him the way maker, Miracle Worker.
