Lovely stroll thru the woods. It is closed for hunting season except sun and mon thru mid February. Ran into trail maintainers who had just cut a downed tree across the trail. And there was no trash on the trail. Good job!

The trail entrance on Harbourton road is not obvious until you find it. It is not obvious where to park. I parked at the south end walked north. It is not a frequently walked trail but it is well maintained.

Out and back trail along the creek. There are boardwalks across some of the muddy spots. Unfortunately there is evidence of alot of flooding and flood damage. About a 1/2 mile along the south trail from the parking lot, the trail effectively ends. Mid July and the trails are getting weeded over, but just like anywhere else around without a lot of trail traffic. Probably a better hike in the fall. I would say hiking and fishing only, not worth taking a bike off the rack for this one.

I liked this. It was small being only 2 miles there and Back but I was worth it it had nice views of the creek the entire time and my dog could splash in the creek if he wanted. The entire time you have views of houses but it's fine I imagine during spring and summer you couldn't see the houses. I recommend this trail for a quick walk outside your normal hiking path.
