Stopped after dr's appt. My elderly dog was with me and he loves a walk and lots of sniffing. We Had the parking lot to ourselves. There was paved path right there and we started strolling. It was great for him to be in a new place and get to wander a little. Rescued a tiny bird nest that was all stretched & dropping. Can't believe I noticed it. It was a gray drizzling day, but again, it was nice to be by ourselves taking a nice walk together. He's almost 17 and I don't know how to properly express how grateful I am for every monent we still have together.🥰❤️💕
My daughter and I went here to go for a walk. Great park with many trails and miles of bike path. We wished we had a map because just the signs alone were not very helpful for navigating but we were able to access our GPS to navigate back to the car. Some historical sites through the park and very scenic. There was ample parking and it appeared that someone was having a private 4th of July party at one of the pavilions that had a basketball court, playground and volleyball. There was another playground on the opposite side. I plan on going back with my bike for a ride for some different scenery than the other local parks I have frequented.
Beautiful park.
Looks like a wonderful place for biking / running / walking with the family
Picnic pavilion (permit needed to book it) has a huge bbq pit. Looks amazing.
A few playgrounds available but they look a little outdated / worn out.
Rosedale has stunning natural scenery. A lake that is surrounded by woodland , and a small playground for young children facing the lake. Further down there's a playground and valley ball court. There's also a creek with a riverbed. Where you can find numerous crayfish. In the park, there are public toilets and plenty of bench and tables for picnics.
Rosedale is an average-size park tucked in the middle of nowhere, between the endless farmlands and immense wealthy estates, in the triangle formed by Pennington, Lawrenceville, and partially Hopewell.
The lakeside is very picturesque and serene; there is a boat-lunching and fishing deck, and the by-the-lake public benches allow for admiring the water expanse and the wildlife (ducks, among other species) if you are lucky.
There are numerous picnic areas, with some featuring just benches and some offering a type of gazebo protecting one from the elements, if needed.
There is a playground complete with slides and swings, dog park, a beautiful old (partially) wooden bridge, as well as several parking areas.
