My girlfriend and I booked a charter with Captain Dave yesterday for my 69th B-day celebration. She's new to sailing, but really wants to learn. I've been around boats my entire life, but am a little rusty when it comes to sailing bigger boats. Capt. Dave provided us an amazing experience that was exactly what we were hoping for. His boat is beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and sails wonderfully. We had winds that went over 25mph all afternoon on the Bay, but the Beneteau was comfortable, fast and always felt very stable. We didn't set out to have a sailing lesson, but once Captain Dave realized we wanted to learn he turned into a wise, calm and patient teacher. He's a fantastic host and I'd highly recommend taking a sail with him. You can just go along for the ride and you'll be comfortable and entertained. Or you can tap into his vast sailing and teaching expertise and you'll come away with a memorable experience and possibly, like us, the bug to continue on a journey to become sailors ourselves.
My grown children and I had a wonderful evening with Captain Dave. My kids are 28 and 30. We went for the sunset sail and the sail couldn’t have been better! The sailboat is amazing. Captain Dave was friendly and so professional.
I’m planning on sailing again with him by myself in August.
We had a great time on the water with Captian Dave. He was great with our kids too, especially our 7 year old son that has a million questions and wants to touch everything. We swam off the back of the boat and got to relax on the front while sailing. Definitely a great experience for all and the price is great too.

The waters of Barnegate Bay offer a scenic, exciting and completely enjoyable day or sunset sail. Capt. Dave will assist you in making sure you'll be creating timeless memories for you and your friends or family. My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with Captain Jack at the helm, who was amazing. We loved it so much, we're already planning something next year with our granddaughter. 5 Stars is not a high enough rating.
