Nice picnic 🧺 area. Good place area for kids. See pics and videos for more details. Summers or a good sunny day is a great day to be here. Large grounds to play, run, lay and relax etc. They also have tennis 🎾 courts. Grills are present here. Picnic tables are available. Ideal place for birthday party 🥳 🎉 social gatherings, yoga, meditation etc. restrooms are available. Thanks 🙏👍
Just a relaxing time. And awesome freshwater catches! There’s a bunch of crawfish and little guppies in the creek to keep the kids happy. I wish the animals in the little zoo would come back but it’s a nice place to spend time with family. Bring and blanket and some drinks and enjoy
It is a great park. Very spacious. There are several courts for tennis and couple play grounds for kids. I liked the place.
Rules have gotten stricter over the years but that’s just the fault of incompetent people who act recklessly. Other than that Johnson Park is a great place to do whatever whether it’s exercise, picnic, or sports. Can even take the kids there and maybe visit the zoo. Not sure how clean the bathrooms are as I haven’t been in a while but years ago they were not kept in the best state.
