First annual Blood On The Pumpkin festival 10/19. Lots of great spooky vendors and perfect Halloween gifts. Live band, speakers, and professional photographers. Hosted by I Heart Horror.

This little museum contains interesting furniture, artwork and mementos relating to the history of Perth Amboy. The enthusiastic and dedicated caretaker/guide shared many details about the objects in the collection. I encourage others to visit. Admission is free, and it is close to the city waterfront also.

I attended a friend's Christmas gathering at the Kearny Cottage located in Perth Amboy last weekend. The moment I walked through the doors I was awestuck at how amazingly beautiful this local treasure is and felt transported back in time to experience life as it was back in the 1700s. The Kearney Cottage is decortated by Mr. Paul Wang, the active president and caretaker of the property in such impeccable taste and I was so impressed I signed up to become a member myself. I'm so glad to be a part of actively preserving history through this museum and to share it with adults and children alike. The museum is open weekly for tours. Make sure to visit soon you won't be disappointed that's for sure!!q
