If you’re a parent of a kid who struggles with haircuts, I can’t recommend Ken’s Family Barber Shop enough! The barber was so patient and understanding with my son, who gets really anxious about the clipper noise. They took their time, talked him through everything, and even let him use an iPad to help him stay calm. For the first time, he actually enjoyed getting his haircut! I’m so grateful for their kindness and care — we’ll definitely be coming back.
Got my haircut here for the first time today from Anthony and it was worth it! He did a great job and quick! Only 30 minutes in and out and he has the next customer service. If you’re military this is the spot to go, super close to base, good prices, and the online booking system makes things easy.
Best barber shop in the area and it’s not close. Aside from Ken being the most talented barber I’ve gone to, he’s also hired some of the best barbers around and you can’t go wrong with anyone there. Treats all of his customers like family and makes the entire process a positive experience. Cannot recommend enough

Appointments make getting in and out with no hassle or waiting! Dont bother with that crooked PX cut! Get it done right and get it done at Kens Family Barber Shop!
I can go hours and hours about the experience my son, husband and myself have had at Ken’s. As so many have stated it’s an experience. You walk in and are automatically greeted with his big cheese grin and an even bigger “heyyy”. The men in our household have been coming to Ken’s since we arrived to JBMDL in 2022. I couldn’t dream of booking my guys anywhere else. My 4 year old looks forward to getting his long hair cut and styled by Ken. He makes him feel like one of the boys… even makes me feel included in all barbershop talk. It’s a very welcoming and professional shop. Ken and Jianna go above and beyond to accommodate all their appointments. I appreciate that it is appointment only as then I’m not waiting around for “ my turn” with a rambunctious kid.
