We rented the downstairs room for my 40th birthday and we had the most wonderful party downstairs. The restaurant owner, manager and wait staff made it perfect in every way, very understanding, accommodating, supportive and reasonable. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The downstairs private room is newly renovated and beautifully appointed, has black granite and gold accents and crystal modern light fixtures, as well as centrally placed washing stations, plenty of tables and nice cushioned chairs. I give 5 stars without any reservation and recommend the space for any kind of private event!
Atmosphere and service are amazing
Staff is great the food on the other hand not good ,average at best .onion rings had no taste don't know how that's possible. Overpriced, the most expensive family friendly kosher restaurant I've ever been to in the whole tristate area customer next to me said he's fried chicken drumstick tasted old And the worker told him it was a week old . How do you even sell that
Once again staff was amazing think owner needs to rethink business also got rice and it had crunchy pieces in it again how do you sell something like that
The food was really great.
After a hard-working day I was in the area I popped in and bought some food with some friends it was so so so so so so good we really enjoyed it, the sandwiches the sesame chicken etc were amazing
Ample selections from menu and welk prepared palatable food. KOD has an pleasant, clean and spacious dining area. Counter employee was courteous and professional. My rating score was reduced due to the iceberg lettuce served on both of our orders being dry indicating it was not washed or inadequate washed. Menu prices seemed better than the other local glatt kosher take out/ restaurant. Thank you
This place is definitely king. I have been visiting Passaic for 8 years and never bothered to stop in to this restaurant. The new yeshiva Bachur sandwich was amazing. The schnitzel was as crispy as Cocoa Puffs. The carmalized onions were supper tasty.
The poppers were amazing as well. I will definitely stop in again in the future to eat some more fried food. Can’t be healthy but definitely worth it every once in a while.
The Mr. Meyer for keeping this place open.
