It is located in a new building. The parking lot is behind the building. The bread and the staff were very nice. The only reason I took off a star is that they stopped selling scrapes. My wife insisted on bringing all of us here because she wanted to have scrapes, which they decided to stop, but were not well-known for. Other than that, it was a nice bakery. Other things were fresh and tasty.
A really interesting spot along the river.
First time learning about Breton pastries!
We stopped by and grabbed a box of different pastries. The owner was behind the counter, and was so welcoming and friendly and easy to talk to. She was so kind when my toddler was being a little wiggly / uncooperative, and very understanding as well.
The pastries were all a delight to see and taste. We’ll be back!
As a baker from Europe I can tell that you ladies are doing great job here! You can find average stuff in any bakery, but high end French desserts and pastries- really hard to find. We got Passion fruit brioche, Cherry brioche and Lemon brioche, couple chocolate chop madeleines and cranberry croissants. As professional I can tell from the sight and first bite- high quality natural ingredients, freshly baked and worth to drive on my only day off - it was incredibly good and I would try to come more often to support fellow bakers ♥️
Pros:
Crepes were delicious, and so was the flan-like confection with the prunes inside. We tried the sausage crepe and the goat cheese crepe. The sausage one had a good amount of filling with spinach and cheese. The goat cheese one was a little light on filling, I think we only had like 2 walnuts in there, but the taste was good. The crepes themselves are delicious with a nice crispy edge. We'll definitely be back to try other things.
Cons:
The crepes are served in a cone which makes them hard to share, so we had to ask for plates and utensils. We didn't like the wood utensils, they were hard to use and unpleasant on the palette.
