Safe Haven Thrift Shop & Pet Food Pantry

A little jewel hidden in a scrappy old shopping center adjacent to Ocean State Job Lot in Fishkill. All profits go towards animal rescue and support. I encourage everyone to bring donations to Safe Haven Thrift in Fishkill. We must support this critical animal rescue organization.

Great organization to help support animals in need. Thrift store is fun to shop for unique items with new finds every week.

I stopped in while visiting the area and I’m so glad I did! The women on staff were genuinely some of the kindest people I’ve ever met and the fact that all proceeds go towards helping Safe Haven Animal Shelter & Wildlife Center is truly such an amazing cause that I couldn’t be happier to support! The store was well organized with a lovely selection of products and I was able to pick up the beautiful vintage pie dish pictured in this review. They also had a deal going where items were 50% off on weekends. I highly recommend anyone reading this to stop by and support this special business in their mission to help shelter pets and injured wildlife. I know I’ll be back next time I’m in the area to shop/donate and I’ll be recommending it to family and friends.

Small but nice selection of stuff. Staff were friendly and the place felt clean. There were discounts the day we visited.

First time coming here and I left with 10 items all going to an amazing cause! They use all donated items to put towards opening up another animal shelter in the area because the other one is usually too full to accept other animals. The woman working there was very informative and extremely kind. They also offer a food pantry 1 Saturday a month to give food to people who cant afford to feed their pets! Its the best place! Please consider donating or stopping in to shop! We need more selfless shops like this!
