Fishkill Music Academy

New Windsor music Academy is a fantastic place to learn to play a new instrument .As an adult learner beginning to play the piano for the first time, i feel very positive and encouraged at each lesson . My teacher , Alan , is extremely skilled at guiding my piano practice in a way that promotes growth and my ability to set new goals for my piano performances .
The office staff is so supportive in keeping me informed and connected to the Academy .

My boys have been doing drum lessons with Darshan for months and they really enjoy the time they spend learning. Everyone is really nice and accommodating. I highly recommend choosing Fishkill Music Academy.

My son Joey absolutely loves this place. He’s been going a little then less a year and learned so much he did his first recital. Alex his teacher is amazing!! Thank you so much for getting Joey to love playing the guitar!

We are so happy that we found Fishkill Music Academy! Recently, our twin boys expressed interest in taking music. They’ve had no prior experience with music except hearing me sing all day :-). We were so glad to receive a postcard invitation in the mail from FMA. When I called, the office manager Christina was so helpful and very flexible, accommodating our home, school, and work schedules. We have experienced the same level of support from all of the office staff (Hannah & Julia)! The music instructors are really amazing! One of our boys is taking drums with Darshan and the other, piano with Travis. Our boys consistently feel inspired to come to music every week! It has only been two months and they’re already talking about other instruments that they’d like to explore. My daughter joined with no prior experience. Her teacher has been amazing and learns at her pace. He is interactive and meets her where she is each lesson. As a parent who does not know much about music they make it easy to encourage her through practice and be able to assist her outside of lesson. If she is sick she gets a lesson from her teacher to work through when she is feeling better.
The location is clean, nice and staff are very friendly.
She has now been with them for over a year and still gets excited for class. It has been the best decision we have made!
