Joe is just about the most patient teacher my son has had. He never glosses over mistakes his students make, all the while trying to explain in different ways to help his students achieve and master the skill. Communication with parents is spot on. It's very apparent that he cares about his students, always encouraging his students to partake in music events outside of drum lessons. We feel very lucky to have found this drum school!

Joe is a consummate professional with years and years of experience. Great to take lessons from a professional, Berkley trained drummer and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. If you've never heard a true jazz drummer with decades of experience up close and in person, get ready to be blown away. His chops are amazing, and he will teach you exactly what any aspiring drummer needs to know! Highly recommend.

Joe is a gem! My kiddo could get frustrated and overwhelmed when he was younger. He started with Joe when he was in fourth grade. Joe was calm and handled it all beautifully. He's unflappable! My son LOVES playing the drums and it has become such a wonderful outlet for him. He's now even paid to play for local drama groups. Cannot recommend him highly enough. If you're looking for a drum teacher, he's the one to use.

My son started drum lessons in November 2023 with Joe and loves it!! He started with no drum knowledge, and I am amazed at the progress he has made. Joe is amazing and has not only taught my shy son how to read music and play beats but has made him feel confident! My son is enthusiastic about playing his drums at home and often beats on anything he can all day!! I highly recommend JC's drum school!
