Overall good prices. Well organized and fresh produce. Good selection of meats. Deli is good, but organization is a little off and slow. Staff are very friendly. Checkout is quick. It is a preferred supermarket for me.
This store is wonderfully stocked, with fresh produce, fresh baked breads, and a fantastic deli department. I can’t give enough stars to the staff in the deli department they are 5 stars +. And all of the fresh made foods are delicious.
As for the meat department. On at least 3 occasions I’ve ran down and picked up chicken breast to make for dinner. They all had fresh dates on them. All 3 times , the chicken was slimy throughout. Strange rubbery texture with strange smell of armpit, that slips out of your hand. I’ve tried different brands, the store brand , Bell & Evan’s, Freebird. All slimy and gross. With sell by dates around 5 days in advance. Something is very wrong either with their packaging, storage, I don’t know. The chop meat also looks beautiful red and fresh and then you open it and the whole inside is grey. I don’t even know how they are doing that, must be a skill. But again, it’s not fresh and it’s disgusting.
3rd time since new change. Fresh items are fantastic. Price is fair. Deli female is a work in progress (spoke with mgr) he was genuine. Looking forward to shop for next holiday. Thank you.
