Windsor House Tea Room and Bakery

Visited with my Mom and my cousins this weekend. Perfect high tea experience! The scones, tea sandwiches, desserts and the actual tea were all delicious! It's a treat to have a ladies' tea and we're coming away with a great memory.

This place is such a hidden gem! The food is amazing, although it has a smaller tea selection it’s filled with such great teas! I got the lavender tea and it was incredible! Jen and her dad are so kind and they make everything in house. The quiche of the day was the best quiche I’ve had in a long time (spinach and feta) their sandwiches were so good (I had allergies and without my needing to ask they swapped out two of their items for double of something else, that I got to choose!) their desserts were amazing, but their scones really were the star of the show! If I didn’t live so far away I’d be a regular, but make it known I will return!

Today was my second time having tea at Windsor House and it was just as good as the first! What a lovely, high quality experience. All the details are beautiful, and the food and tea are really top notch. I went with my mom, aunt, and family friend who are all ladies with very high expectations but came away raving! Highly recommend making a reservation and coming for tea one afternoon.

Really cute traditional English tea house. Excellent teas and delicious food. The soup and quiche of the day are delicious. The traditional tea sandwiches were stingily spread with egg salad, chicken salad etc. Other tea houses are more generous in this regard and I feel for the price there could have been a bit more on these delicious sandwiches. The coronation chicken salad was delicious but would liked to see more spread on the cute little sandwiches. Excellent presentation. Delicious baked goods. Would definitely recommend.

My friends and I had such a lovely afternoon tea today at Windsor House!! Beautifully decorated, incredibly kind and attentive staff, delicious food and tea. The chicken salad was to die for!! Scone was fresh out of the oven and by far the best scone I’ve ever had. Their attention to detail goes unnoticed. I’m so grateful to have such a darling little spot like this in Sussex county. Also took notice that they have a nice little variety of bakery items for sale, including cakes that are so reasonably priced! Can’t wait to come back.
