I had a fantastic experience at Sparta Annex Bakery & Kitchen. The food was excellent, and the service truly stood out — friendly, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and high quality.
The chicken sandwiches and burgers were outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with top-notch ingredients. And if you’re a blue cheese snob like I am, look no further. Their blue cheese is exceptional — rich, balanced, and absolutely worth ordering.
This place immediately earned a return visit, and I can’t wait to try it again. Highly recommended.

Got food for the first time here today. The food was amazing, will definitely start going here. The pricing is better than most restaurants in Sparta. The owner/cook is a nice guy, gave up extra fries.

I ordered what turned out to be the best chicken fingers I’ve ever had! Empanadas were fresh and on point. No grease on my hands when I finished eating. Cinnamon rolls were also awesome! I highly recommend this hidden gem.

I had high hopes for this place. We've been following them on Instagram for over a year and couldn't wait to try it. We drove quite far and spent close to $60 to be severely let down. First off, they forgot to add the biscuits to our family dinner order, although they did agree to make it up to us in a future order. The mac and cheese was dry with little flavor. Frankly speaking, it was pretty bad and certainly wasn't the same mac and cheese I've been seeing for the last year in their social media posts. It was a totally different noodle and the cheese was like paste vs the creamy sauce we've been seeing (See pictures) The mashed potatoes were cold and bland, no flavor at all and the gravy was bland and lumpy. The chicken was really the only thing that i enjoyed and it really wasn't anything to write home about. Needless to say, we were super hyped after months of following them and it ended up being just "so-so". We probably won't be going back.

Okay, call me crazy! How can one place offer such an eclectic menu with such a variety, AND do it all good?! Well, this place does just that!! We ordered: burgers, falafel, empanadas and wraps and every item was better than the last. I highly recommend you try this little gem. We will definitely be back. Ohhhh, and we used Uber eats so you don't even have to leave your home. It was truly an awesome experience. 👌 A+
