La-Z-Boy Wayne

Went in just to explore options and get a feel for pricing and styles, ended up buying two couches lol. The Black Friday deal even surprised the woman completing our transaction she said “wait this is cheaper than it usually is. What did the sticker say” could’ve been a good sales tactic but it felt candid.

Being able to customize the couches and chairs they have on the showroom and full delivery and installation is clutch. Highly recommend.

If I included delivery, I would give 2 stars. But the store is awesome. Let me weave a tale. Put simply I was told by the store my old recliners would be taken apart (12 screws removed with a ratchet), and taken to the curb. Delivery comes as scheduled when my wife is home and, you guessed it, they won’t remove the screws. I deny delivery (can’t have two couches in a small living room), and when I call the store, they say the delivery guys said it’s because my wife didn’t sign a waiver. My wife lost it, called the store, and canceled the order. The store called back and offered an additional 5% discount on the already 30% off Labor Day deal we got. That’s another $900 off! My wife was happy, we rescheduled, I took the couch apart and moved it my myself, and the new delivery guys did a great job. No damage to the walls (it’s a tight hallway with a 90 degree turn at the top of the stairs) and no damage to the furniture. They were so good my wife still gave them a tip even though one of the guys was from the original crew that denied taking apart my couch. Manager Nermine was awesome throughout the process. She took a long time with us during selection and even sent an interior designer to the house. It really helped us pick out the right colors. I should have written this at the top: LA-Z BOY IS SOOO WORTH THE MONEY. American made and super comfortable, and it will last a long time. This furniture is replacing old La-Z Boy furniture that was 20 years old, and while we got our use out of the old couch, my daughter took the love seat and ottoman because they fit in her small basement and are still great shape, 20 years running this month.

I was holding off giving this review until my recliner was delivered and I had a chance to inspect it. Delivery was top notch as were the people who delivered it.
Our sales person, Brian was really good. He was very knowledgeable and showed us the recliner that was not only really comfortable but fit me perfectly. Brian was great to deal with, he gave me ample time to try this and other chairs. Brian was all about doing the right thing for the customer.
I would highly recommend Brian and Lazy-Boy.
