Went there during the winter. We walked the trails. Beautiful area. There's a large beach area and it appears to have bathroom facilities. There's a playground and picnic areas all throughout the woods. There are cabins and campsites all throughout the area too. We loved our hike!
Water in late July was perfect. Very clean beach and bathhouse. Playground is a little outdated but the kids loved it. There are picnic benches and charcoal grills near the beach area you can use.
Fantastic beach-area on the lake, open for swimming. New building with food for purchase availble, bathrooms and ample parking. Will visit again next time we are camping in this area.
Little cute place to do a family barbecue by the lake. When I came, it was not ready for the public to swim, and they were building a new area for public usage like bathroom etc. Maybe because of the construction I was not charged entry
They sell ice!!! This is great if you camping in the park as well so you don't have to travel to local gas station to get a bag or two. There is boat rental, but it was closed this weekend ( even though it was 4th of July weekend). Concession stand has fast food, ice cream, and all the beach items- sunscreen, towels, umbrellas, toys etc.
