Luna Bella mediterranean food ( HALAL)

Sorry to say the food was tasty but it was the smallest lamb gyro I ever had from a food truck. I brought back 4 of them for my workers and I was embarrassed that it was such a small portion I ordered a second lunch for my guys somewhere else. Not worth 10 dollars at all.
On the other hand the combo over rice was a full portion but it went for 17$. Good luck to the owner.

Listen the food here is so flavorful and so delicious it’s insane. My fiancé and I tried this for the first time over a year ago and have been coming back since. I’m a OTR truck driver so I don’t get to come as often but whenever I do it tastes just as it did the very first time I tried them which to me shows consistency and attention to detail. I leave every time saying the same thing “I should”ve got 2 plates”. The food is always fresh every single time. If I could eat here every day I promise you I would. Make sure to try the chicken over rice dish 10 out of 10!!!

I travel globally with my job, so I’m very familiar very good food. I must say the food here is AMAZING. The flavor and the seasoning is sooo good! Save your time and money going to Halal guys and Adels, this place is 10000x better.

I got lamb over salad and the freshness of the greens and how well cooked the lamb is!! The meat is REAL! Very good quality meat!!!

My husband got chicken tenders over salad, and the chicken tenders were soooo juicy!!!

The food was amazing and the customer service is amazing! Luna the owner is sooo sweet and very very patient and funny! Her husband is also sooo nice!

EXCELLENT!!! If you have to be in Port Newark Halal Food is worth trying. I tried on a whim one day and it’s my go to lunch truck when I’m in the area. I’d even go when I’m not in the area. Also the owners, husband and wife, are very kind and willing to fix your order just as you specify. This is a good one 👌

I don’t leave reviews often, but this food truck deserves all five stars and more. From the moment I walked up, I was greeted with friendly, welcoming service—and the food? Next level.

I ordered the chicken and lamb over rice, and everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. The meats were tender and juicy, the rice was aromatic and fluffy, and the fresh toppings (lettuce, tomato, onions) were crisp and clean. The white sauce is creamy and addictive, and the hot sauce is spicy with real depth—not just heat for the sake of it.

Portion sizes are huge for the price, and you can tell they care about both quality and presentation. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and probably the best I’ve had from any food truck.

Service was fast, efficient, and super friendly. You can feel the pride they take in their food—and it shows in every bite.

If you’re craving halal Mediterranean food that hits every mark—flavor, freshness, service, and value—this is the spot. I’ll be coming back regularly. Highly, highly recommend!
