M. Rose Hair Studio

I moved to Hamilton from Brooklyn in 2017 and after bouncing between 2 or 3 salons trying to find someone as skilled and intuitive as the stylists who had been my neighbors at Hair & CO on Myrtle Ave, I tried cutting my own hair, and then while running an errand, happened to stop into a Hair Cuttery where Jessica took me as a walk in, fixed my mistakes, and gave me the cut I’d been looking for but didn’t know how to describe to a stylist. She has been my stylist ever since (I followed her M Rose.) Together we have experimented with different fashion color combos, creative cuts and bang styles, etc. She gave me my first ever “V bangs” which were her first ones to cut as well and she did an excellent job. She takes her time and gets very perfectionistic with whatever I ask her for. She works hard to give her clients what they want, she is easy to talk to, friendly, hardworking and accommodating. I’m very lucky to have found her. The salon itself is also a lovely space and, the staff are friendly and professional, the prices are affordable, and there are always free snacks.

I absolutely love Jessica K! She is super easy to chat with and is a whizz at hair! I showed her a picture and I got exactly what I asked for. This is my favorite color I’ve ever done to my hair it came out so perfect. The salon is nice and relaxed. I love that the offer coffee, tea or water. I had an amazing experience and look forward to my next hair appointment!!!

Salon review: The salon is very clean, cute, and welcoming, with a great range of great products. They have a nice waiting area with plenty of reading options. The hair wash station is one of the best I’ve ever been in. I had a neck injury last year and most sinks hurt my neck, this one did not.

As a woman with curly hair, I have struggled to find someone who is skilled with curls and cuts my hair the way that I like it. I couldn't be more thankful to have found Dani!! I have never been disappointed with a hair cut, she has blown out my hair without heat damage every time and is always so sweet. The whole staff is kind, courteous, helpful and always shares compliments with customers even if they aren't their client. I always look forward to my cuts now and I used to dread them anywhere else.

I found this salon by following my hair stylist Amanda here and I’m so glad I did. Amanda is everything to my hair and I and she is patient and detailed with my thick curly hair which not everyone knows how to handle. Not only is she the only one I trust with my hair but the salon feels so homey and with a sense of community. On top of that the rates are very reasonable. I love it here and highly recommend!
