Had opportunity to visit here as a white belt. Coach Pat helped me out and let me pay a small amount for 2 weeks of training when I was a broke senior in college. This has stuck with me throughout my JJ journey. Although I don't train here now I would recommend the gym to anyone in the area. My son started at Madhouse at the beginning of the year. Coach Pat and Kyle have both been excellent. Their structured, firm and supportive coaching really has helped his growth. His little sister is eager to start as well!!

When Coach Courtney launched the women's program I was nervous to give it a shot, but I am so glad I did. I left my first two classes feeling humbled but prouder of my body's abilities than I have felt in a long time. Courtney has created an environment where we can learn the fundamentals of jiu jitsu in a way that is accessible to all of us, from the extreme novice to the seasoned athlete. I am excited to learn more as the program grows!

I gravitated towards Pat while he was still coaching at another gym and followed him when he left to open Madhouse. I couldn’t imagine training jiujitsu anywhere else. Pat treats his team like a family and because of that we have become dear friends. Pat lives and breathes jiujitsu. The rest of the coaches and team are a reflection of Pat and his welcoming attitude and love for the sport. 10/10 recommend.

I've been to a few jiu jitsu gyms in my travels to the jersey shore over the years. Madhouse, by far, is the best. The attention to detail by Pat and the coaches is impressive. The community is very supportive, and it was an easy choice for me to sign up full time when I moved here. Highly recommend you stop in.
