Mattar's Bistro

Mattar's Bistro is our favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is very modern and upscale. The food is always excellent! I love their Bistro Burger and my wife loves the salmon. The Mediterranean Tapas has the best hummus and baba ghanoush I have ever had. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

A group of about 10 of us celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary here 09 November 2024. They both passed just a couple months later. In their honor, a party of 8 of us returned for their 51st anniversary 09 November 2025. Completely by coincidence, we were sat at the same table we all sat last year with my parents.

Reservations were easy to make in advance, though none are usually necessary. We were the only party in the restaurant at 730pm on a Sunday, which made it easy for us to all to interact with each other, as well as with staff. Wait staff was 5/5. Orders came out within a reasonable time. Food was good end enjoyed by all at the table. Drinks were also approved by the group. Atmosphere is warm and inviting. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

Great place to stop for a bite if you are in the area.

Shrimp stuffed avocado- nice ,fresh and tasty
Beet and goat cheese salad- very light, great starter
Steak sandwich - solid dish, the fries were good.The sandwich was missing a bit of spice of me personally, would love to have maybe some pickled jalapenos in it or something to make it pop
Pepprdella pasta - good pasta,fresh ingredients, here again for me personally was a bit under seasoned but still good
We washed it all down with some cocktails,the watermelon Margarita was good

So all and all a nice place with good food

Food was good. We had Kevin as our server and he was terrific. Was very helpful in communicating our allergies to the kitchen staff. Definitely will be coming back and asking for him again.

Overall my family and I had a pleasant experience. I called just a few hours before to make a reservation for six in a Sunday evening and had no difficulty. The establishment was easy to find with plenty of parking surrounding the building. The dinning area was spacious with thanks already set.

My family ordered (2)organic chicken, salmon, (2) lobster ravioli, and the shrimp & scallop risotto. The food was excellent but took a while to come out. We hadn’t order appetizers because we were so hungry but regretted after the wait was so long. The bread only held us over so long.

We went to celebrate my mothers birthday so the staff helped us to surprise her with a slice of Key Lime Pie with a candle. The pie was rather sour even when eaten with the ice cream and what I presume was toasted coconut.

Overall great experience. The host and our server , Cami, was very kind.
