Sonny's Pizza II

Sonny’s II Pizzeria is absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent, and the pizzas came out hot and fresh, straight from the oven. You can really taste the quality in every ingredient they use. The garlic knots are different than any you find in the area and they are amazing! Sonny's also has a large selection of desserts, including a Peanut Butter Silk Pie which is delicious. Many of the desserts are made in-house.
The customer service was just as impressive—everyone from the owner to the person working the counter was friendly, outgoing, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re looking for delicious, high-quality pizza, pasta, and subs, with great people behind it!

Sonny’s pizza is the best! They made me two cute pumpkin shaped pizzas for Halloween when I ordered in advance :) Thank you so much again, couldn’t be happier with the service! I’ve said this in the past and I’ll say it again- the only problem with Sonny’s is when you go out of town and order any other pizza you’re wishing it’s Sonny’s pizza!!! ;)

Every time we order the pizza it's always the same...delicious! Crispy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. Kids love the boneless buffalo bits with bbq. And we always have it delivered during the kids sports season by the nicest guy. He's so good to the dogs too! The buffalo ranch pizza is amazing too!!

There are better places to sit down and order a whole pie (Mamma’s, Dicola’s, & Nicolosi’s) in Warren County, but for a quick grab and go slice, especially in Hackettstown there is not many better options than Sonny’s. Their traditional plain NY style and Sicilian slices are fairly average, but their specialty slices are the best in Hackettstown. Their buffalo chicken & drunk nonna slices in particular are very good, their garlic knots and fried calzones are spectacular. They have most of your familiar Italian entrees and pasta dishes and from what I’ve had, they’re also solid, as are their sandwiches, especially their chicken vodka parm.

The major drawback of Sonny’s is there’s barely anywhere to sit, just a little counter in the back with some bar seats. This is why I consider them a great grab and go place, but not really a spot where you can comfortably take your family out to dinner. It kind of reminds me aesthetically of those dollar slice shops you’ll find in New York but with much better quality pizza.

Sonny’s best quality In my opinion is quick and prompt service. I never have to worry about my food coming out late. They know they’re mostly a takeout & delivery centric business, and they’ve perfected what it takes to thrive in that niche.

That was my first Time ever trying buffalo chicken pizza, that baby slaps! My girl and I both opened up our box’s Of Personal pies, and I got the barbecue CBR pie, she got the buffalo chicken pie, yooo.. when I drop these pictures, it’s gonna explain how good they was. I probably won’t mind trying any of the other pies. Bye the way because of these. But The service was over the top genuine and professional! Real home feel. Make sure you get them garlic knots! You’ll be back again. These bad boys… I walked in and thought they was little cinnamon buns but nope lol. They was garlic knots. They offered me to try one!! “Hint” Samples sale! Also, when is added with great genuine service, here why!! My girl actually ended up ordering steak fries so we got them. While waiting for our food, I gave them a compliment on their service up to that point and also how good the knots look's. I’ll tell you they slapped! So bought them too, right after we already placed our order.
Now we got all our food we’re in the car We open our boxes up and we’re looking at this Deliciously amazing smelling food. BAM WE CLOSE THEM BACK UP AND WITH SO MUCH EXCITEMENT WE WALKED BACK INTO THE RESTAURANT a told them this food was the best we’ve ever torched lol & came in clutch for the drive to PA. We’re already planning to do party platters. We really appreciate our first time there with a first time over the top service, first time over the top food and beverage, first time feeling home in a pizza shop—when I wasn’t even at home. I was a state away! Touché, Touché, Touché!
