The waterfront was peaceful, with benches thoughtfully placed for anyone wanting to pause and soak in the beauty.

Like going to this park for an evening walk/run. Love the trail except for all the duck and dog poop everywhere makes it tough to avoid stepping on one of those and doesn't smell that great either.

First thing first, Mill Pond Park is a great park featuring picturesque views and calming hiking paths.

Particularly attractive is the lakeside area, along Maple Avenue, by the park's official entrance. There is a fishing and kayaking dock, and benches inviting to enhoy beautiful vista-like views. Don't miss the bulletin board by the park's entrance, offering visual aids to help to identify poison ivy, different plants, and fish varieties.

Now, the truth is that Mill Pond Park, Water's Edge Park, and Lenape Trail leading almost all the way to Ashford development in Plainsboro is the one continuous stretch of lakeside land, varying in its degrees of human development. Thus, Mill Pond Park only got nature hikes rather wide, whereas Water's Edge Park and Lenape Trail all prominently feature a narrow asphalted walkway along the lake, barely enough for two people walking next to each other, and boarded by townhouses and condos on one side.

Picnic tables and benches as well as port-a-potty are located in Water's Edge Park after you cross the wooden bridge.

The parking, rather limited in size, allowing for approximately 10 cars, is located right across the street from the park's entrance, on Maple Ave.

Definitely one of my favorite trails! Good place for walking and fishing! I love the ground is not rough or difficult to walk so that I can enjoy the whole nature that this park offers, which is great for riding bicycles as well. There’s also a quite spacious parking lot right across the street. I had really good walk today with my family. Will definitely come back again!

This park is beautiful and it has some benches along the trail, where you can seat to rest or have a picnic 🤩 I walked 6 km (going and back) with my husband. There is a small parking lot but I left at 9am and it was still half full. And it has the most beautiful sunrise that I ever saw in this area!!!
